Homemade Dinner Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
  

Refrigerated

  • 1 Egg

Baking & Spices

  • 1 package Active dry yeast
  • 3 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Sugar

Dairy

  • 2 tbsp Butter

Liquids

  • 1 cup Warm water

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients (except for 1 cup of flour) in a bowl and mix together for about 1 minute using the a dough hook
  • Continue mixing and slowly add the last cup of flour until the dough is soft and just slightly sticky
  • Place dough on a floured surface and knead 3 times, patting into ball shape
  • Cover with kitchen towel and let rise for 90 minutes
  • Place the dough on a floured surface and divide into 8 pieces if you like the rolls to be large if you would like them to be a normal roll size divide into 16 pieces. Shape into balls
  • Place in a dish that's been prepared with non stick spray and cover with kitchen towel and let rise for 30 minutes
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, or until the top of the rolls are golden brown
