Cut the lemons in half, juice each lemon through a strainer into a glass measuring cup. Continue to juice until you have 2 cups of lemon juice.
Pour water into a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat. Stir in sugar. Continue cooking over heat until sugar is dissolved and liquids look clear again.
Combine the sugar solution with the lemon juice. This is a lemonade concentrate.
When ready to serve, add water and ice to taste. Enjoy!
