Strawberry Shortcake Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Strawberries, Fresh

Baking & Spices

  • 1/2 cup Powder sugar
  • 1 12.75 oz Premade Strawberry Glaze
  • 1 box White Cake
  • 2 cups Heavy whipping cream

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Prepare white cake according to package and then pour in a 10 inch dish that's been prepared with non stick spray
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until tester comes out clean, let cool for 10 minutes
  • While cake is cooling start on whipped cream, beat together the heavy cream and powdered sugar making sure to not over beat
  • Once cake is cooled flip the cake over and start to cut in half with a knife starting at edges and carefully working to the middle. Remove top of cake and place aside
  • Add first layer of whipped cream, then place top of cake over
  • Add strawberry glaze over then add two layers of whipped cream and then top off with fresh cut strawberries
  • Enjoy!

Notes

You can also make vanilla cake or angel food cake if you would not want white cake.
