French Toast Casserole

French Toast Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 Loaf of brioche bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 6 Eggs
- 2 cups Milk
- ½ cup Brown sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- ½ cup Melted butter
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- ¼ tsp Salt
- Top with fresh Berries and Powdered Sugar
Cinnamon Whipped Cream
- 2 cups Heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
Instructions
- Grease 9X13inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter
- Cut bread into 1 inch cubes, then spread them evenly in prepared baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract, melted butter, salt, and cinnamon until combined. Pour the mixture over the brea, making sure to coat them evenly. Gently press down on the bread to ensure it absorbs the custard.
- Allow the bread to soak for about 30 minutes or refrigerate over night.
- Preheat the oven to 375℉ and let bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the top with some fresh berries and dust with powdered sugar. Cut into squares and serve with maple syrup. ENJOY!
