Hummus Recipe
Homemade Hummus is way better than store-bought. Made with traditional ingredients like tahini and chickpeas, this hummus recipe is simple, yet irresistible.
Hummus Recipe
Ingredients
- 15oz 2 cans Chickpeas
- 1/4 cup Lemon Juice, from two lemons
- 1/2 tsp Salt, or to taste
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup Tahini
- 1/4 cup Olive oil, plus more to drizzle
- 4-5 tbsp Cold water, or to desired consistency
- Serve with paprika
Instructions
- In a food processor, add all ingredients: chickpeas, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, salt, olive oil, and water and blend until smooth, scraping the sides of the bowl as needed. Add more ice water to reach desired consistency.
- To serve, transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and dust with paprika to taste. ENJOY!
