Strawberry Puff Pastry Hearts
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Nutella
- Puff pastry, thawed
- Strawberries, sliced
- 1 Egg
- Powdered sugar to dust on top
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Have ready a large baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Roll out puff pastry sheets. Then using a heart cookie cutter, cut out as many hearts as you can. I got a total of 10 hearts.
- Place hearts 2 inches apart on your baking tray. Place about a teaspoon of Nutella in the center of each heart. Then place sliced strawberries on top of Nutella. Place another pastry heart over the top. Gently press down the sides. Using a fork go around the edges of the heart and firmly press it together.
- Brush the tops of the pastry with the beaten egg. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until the pastry is golden and puffed up. Dust powdered sugar on top and ENJOY!
