Skillet Cookie
Ingredients
- 2 Eggs
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Semi Chocolate chips (plus top with more)
- 1 cup Butter
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
- scoops of vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, mix butter, sugars and vanilla until well blended. Mix in eggs and blend until you get a light and fluffy texture.
- In a small bowl whisk together flour, baking soda and salt. Slowly mix into wet ingredients until combined.
- Then fold in 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips.
- Generously grease a cast iron skillet with butter. I used a 10'' cast iron skillet.
- Spread cookie dough into prepared skillet.
- Press about 1/2 cup of chocolate chips scattered all over the top of the giant cookie.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until browned on the edges and light browned on top.
- When done, remove from oven and let cool for at least 5-10 minutes. Slice like a pie and serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. ENJOY!
Notes
Cover with foil if you notice edges starting to get too dark early on in the baking.
