Ingredients
  

Soup

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 Small diced Onion
  • 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 24oz Jar Pasta Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 tsp Parsley
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 10 Broken Lasagna noodles, uncooked
  • Fresh Basil
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese

Cheese Topping

  • 15oz Ricotta Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat cook onion, minced garlic and ground beef until browned, about 8-10 minutes.
    Season with Salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, oregano, and parsley.
  • Mix in the tomato paste and fresh basil, then pour in pasta sauce, chicken broth, and heavy cream.
    Bring to a boil and add in broken lasagna noodles and let cook for 10-15 minutes, until the pasta is al dente.
    Sprinkle on top the mozzarella cheese.
    To serve, spoon the soup into bowls and top with a dollop of the cheese mixture. ENJOY!

Cheese Topping

  • In a mixing bowl combine the ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning.
