Slow Cooker Chocolate Lava Cake

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Box Chocolate cake mix
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 cups Milk
For topping
  • 3.9 oz Box of chocolate instant pudding
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1-2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Other
  • Non stick spray
For serving
  • Vanilla Ice Cream

Method
 

  1. Beat together cake mix, oil, eggs, and milk with an electric hand mixer for a few minutes until batter is smooth.
  2. Spray slow cooker with nonstick spray so the cake won't stick. Pour mixture into the slow cooker and smooth over the bottom.
  3. In another bowl mix the pudding mix and milk until combined. Let thicken for a few minutes. Then pour over the top, do not stir. Then sprinkle chocolate chips over top without stirring. 
  4. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 and 1/2 hours without opening the lid during the cooking time. You'll know when it is done when the outsides and top set up like a sponge and the middle will be gooey. Serve with vanilla ice cream. ENJOY!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 2 lbs Bag of Frozen Corn
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese, cut into chunks
  • 4 tbsp Butter, salted
  • 4 tbsp Honey
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet , over medium-high heat, melt the butter and honey. Once melted add the frozen corn and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cooked through.
  2. Add cream cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir together and let it cook, about 3-5 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  3. Serve immediately. ENJOY!

Ingredients
  

  • 8 Hot Dogs
  • 8 Sticks
  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Corn Meal
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 3/4 cups Buttermilk
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • Ketchup or Mustard to serve

Method
 

  1. Pour 2” of oil in a large pot or dutch oven and heat to 350˚F over medium heat.
  2. Pat the hot dogs dry with paper towels. Insert sticks into hot dogs.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together dry ingredients (corn meal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt).  Whisk in the egg, milk, and oil until combined.
  4. Transfer batter to a tall drinking glass for dipping. Dip each hot dog into the batter, covering the hot dog completely. After dipping, put immediately into the hot oil to fry.
  5. Fry each dog until golden brown, about 3 minutes per corndog. Fry up to 2 at a time (so you don’t drop the temperature). Put on paper towels to drain.
  6. Enjoy with Ketchup or Mustard!
