Fudgy Chocolate Brownie Recipe

Ingredients
  

Baking & Spices
  • 1 Cup Brown sugar
  • 1 Cup White sugar
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 Cup All purpose Flour
  • 1 Cup Cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
Snacks
  • 1 Cup Chocolate chunks, semi sweet
Dairy
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter, melted
Refrigerated
  • 4 Eggs

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Prepare a 9×9 square pan with parchment paper, cut the edges of the paper and fold then place in pan and set aside
  3. Combine sugars, vegetable oil, and melted butter in a large mixing bowl. Whisk together until combined.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla and continue to whisk together
  5. Sift in the flour, cocoa, and salt. Then fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients unitl combined
  6. Fold in the chocolate chunks
  7. Pour the batter into prepared pan, smooth the top out evenly, and top with remaining chocolate chunks
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the center of the brownies no longer jiggles and is just set the touch
  9. After 10 minutes, carefully remove them from pan and slice brownies and serve.
  10. Enjoy!

Notes

I bake my brownies on the top rack in the oven. I find the middle rack cooks them faster, slightly burns them on the top and dries them out.
